What is the best way to blonde my medium brown hair without a professional?
For starters, this is the first time i will ever be trying this and i'm a guy so there is no way i will go to a professional hair dooer/dresser or whatever. I want to get my medium brown hair blonde, not "look away or you will go blind blonde," more of a blonde with a small hint of darkness if you know what i mean. I've been looking around and it sounds like bleach has to many reprocutions. nun-the-less, any help would be appreciated!
The BEST way is to strip all of the color out first then tint it the color you want. Color stripping solutions are available at any beauty supply shop (and hey, mr. I'm not going to a hairdresser, LOTS of guys go there and to beauty supply stores to get the right 'tools' to do the job right, I see them all the time when I'm there). The staff at beauty supply store is usually proficient enough to be able to suggest the best brands for your hair and budget. After that you can just put permanent color in every 4-6 weeks depending on how fast your hair grows and the natural shade starts showing. It's a high maintenance choice, hope you're up to it!
