how can i make a 3d spiderman head without buying a foam manequin,?
I don't know how detailed you want this to be, but you could start by blowing up a balloon to the size head you want then paper macheing over it to make the head and neck (mix glue and water until glue is thin, then dip strips of newspaper in it, lay the newspaper strips over the balloon to create the shape you want. Make it thicker if you want it sturdy, thinner if you want it quickly. Let it dry completely (use a low heat in the oven if it needs help drying). Once dry, you can lightly sand any bumps and humps from the newspaper strips. You can also pop the balloon if it hasn't already. Then paint).
