i need to find a transparent yet viscous liquid like lubricant for my art project. NOw, since lube is expensive and i need to buy a large amount, I am looking for an alternative. I was thinking of buying hair gel..but hair gel will smell like hair gel and thus the effect of the finished sculpture won't be as affective, im afraid. My professor suggested using gum arabic? or soemthing like that but I donno how cheap that is or if it's viscous enough. If anyone knows any material that is as viscous as lube and that can have things suspended in it, please let me know. thank you in advance!
