Line Lasting Curls

How can I get lasting curls?
I have rebonded straight hair which is really soft and fine and when i use a little mousse (loreal studio line fix and shine mousse), I curl it with an iron. I finish it off with a little hair spray but i don't use too much product as it causes build up and will make my hair go limp. My curls last only and hour at most and then it fades off and becomes bone straight again! how do i get long lasting curls?
instead of using curling irons try gettin heated bendy rollers! put them in damp hair and spritz with hairspray! when your hair is dry take the rollers out and spritz with more hairspray while gently blowing rying your hair on a cool setting! Good Luck x
