Light Weightless

Why did I feel light headed and dizzy at the mall? What can I do? I never get headaches.
I am a 24 year old female. I am a non drinker, non smoker, and I do not take any kind of drugs. The other day, I was standing, waiting for the elevator at the mall (it was pretty warm inside and out and I had been rushing around to pick up a wheelchair) when this strange sensation came over me. When I looked down, I felt like I was sinking through the floor, just a very lightheaded dizzy feeling that lasted about a minute or so and then didn't return again until the next day. I felt weightless. I very seldom feel like this, and I don't know what caused it. I had no headache or anything. I hadn't eaten all day, but that is the norm for me. I am soooo worried. Does anybody know what it could be? Humidity? Over-exertion? Dehydration? Thanks for the help.
It could have happened for a lot of reasons. It could be all those factors you mentioned like overexertion, dehydration, weather changes, and the fact that you haven't ate all day. Try eating something before you go to the mall next time, stay out of the heat and drink some water periodically during the day to see if that helps your dizziness. A lot of people get dizzy if they don't drink enough water during the day. If it persists, then I would go see a doctor. Dizziness could be a sign of many other health problems. Good luck to you!
