is it bad for your hair to leave a protein based conditioner on for an hour?

i've got extremely dry damaged hair, and nothing ive been doing seems to help except deep conditioning my hair for an hour every other night. i have joico's kpak deep penetrating reconstructor conditioner and i was wondering if its bad to leave something like that on your hair for so long.

No that's fine. But just make sure you aren't washing your hair every other night, that'll just make it drier.
