Kanekalon Weave
weave for sew in extensions?

im getting some extensions sewn in, in a few days and I have no idea what type of weave to buy. 1. is there any special type of weave used to sew in or can I just use regular loose weave?
2. what type should I use? (ie: human, kanekalon... etc.)
3. I have jet black hair and I read on here that you should leave some of your real hair in the front for a natural look... I was thinking about a brown color... is it a MUST that I leave the front part natural or can all of it be sewn?
(I have thick curly african american hair... never had these type of extensions although I've gotten micro braids with kanekalon weave and it looks good.)

No, you don't have to leave your hair out. I wear extensions all the time, but it looks a bit more natural when you leave a top piece of your hair out to use as a "part". You can purchase a closure piece to do a part in your hair, but you can not use a closure at all. As long as your stylist knows how to sew-in a "full" weave, you should be able to still have what would be considered a "part" in the front of your hair, but the scalp won't be seen... I hope this makes sense. Here's a link to a picture that I found. I shows what I'm talking about. http://www.hairwarsustour.com/images/Sultry%20Sew-In%20Quick%20Weave.jpg

Hope this information helps!
