How can I continue hot oil treatments and scalp steam with my hair braided in kanekalon hair?

I'm about to plait my hair in individuals and my hair is slightly dry and by scalp is really dry. I want to continue the steam and oil treatments, can I continue to use a heat cap (the portable microwavable one)?

Yes you can do the hot oil treatment with your braids(aside, i love braids, they help protect your ends)
