Brunette wanting to go blonde ?
Im a brunette, its a chestnut reddish brown. I usually just use the bleach blonde + a brown color and it makes my hair a nice medium blonde. well for my birthday my mother is taking me to a professional salon to get it dyed, highlighted low lighted etc.. how easy is it going to be to go from a brunette to a blonde? Is it gonig to have to be gradual?
If you're going to a professional, they should be able to take you as light as you want to go without doing large amounts of damage (as long as you don't want hair like Gwen Stefani). This is especially true if your hair is already in the blonde range from your at-home dye. Do expect some damage, though, as bleach by definition will dry out your hair. A conditioning mask afterward should fix everything, though, and a lot of salons will do that right there!
