How does one obtain the "natural look" with make-up? Ironic isn't it?
Not an advice question. Rather a "Wow. I know! That makes absolutely no sense" question!
seriously though, what's the point of the "natural" look if you need make-up to achieve it! I'm sick of seeing this in magazines!!! MAKEUP IS NOWHERE NEAR NATURAL BEAUTY!!'

I agree to all of that, and also, I hate it when women/girls put sooo much make-up on, that they almost look like clowns.
All they need is the big nose. Alot of them already have the crazy hair and wild colors.
Basically, I think what they mean is to highlight your good features, and making it look natural. But you are right, it does sound confusing.
