Does a Garment Steamer produce the same results of a: steam/nonsteam iron or steam generator?
I'm looking for something practical, easy to use -- And I'm lazy so I heard you can just hang garments & steam them with the garment steamers. But are they better than irons or a steam generator? I'm just not good at ironing on boards.
A steamer will work well on everything except for linen, which usually needs a tight crease.
As long as you don't need a sharp crease in your clothes, the steamer will work great. Be careful not to burn yourself...but they can be expensive and really, it takes about the same amount of time to heat up the steamer and pass it over your clothes as it does to iron them.
