Instant heat, why not instant freeze?
we have microwaves to heat up things pretty fast. why not a similar appliance that freezes things just as fast? specially in the summer. who wants to make this appliance?
Can´t be done. You can make heat easily (by pumping in microwaves for instance) but you can´t make cold. Cold is the absence of heat meaning you can only make something colder by moving heat from one place to another which is how a refrigerator works. And that always take time with all the compressor work that needs to be done. So no instant flash freezing devices anytime soon unless you use something that uses a coolant like liquid nitrogen or CO2 snow or some kind of ray that can stop spinning/moving molecules (heat) in their track.
