Got a burn from a curling iron on my face....tomorrow is the first day of school....help?
Last night I was curling my hair to go out to dinner with some family and I turned my head to look at my sister and I lightly touched my chin to the 375 degree curling iron. Yeah, and tomorrow is the first day of my sophomore year. Last night directly after it happened I applied cool water for 5 minutes and then applied ice in a towel to it. After i took a shower I applied some Vitamin E oil to it.
When I woke up this morning it looks a lot lighter in color but is still VERY noticeably pink.
Right now I am applying an ice from my dermatologist that has Aloe, Zinc, and Hyaluronate in it. This is infused with minerals and amino acids in it for dry or wounded skin.
Is there anything else I can do to make this less noticible in the next 48 hours. I really need this to go away.
Maybe home remedies or even ways to cover it up with makeup.
Thanks for the help,

I burned through the first layer of skin. Ow...
Get an egg and separate the yolk from the white. Beat the egg white slightly and apply it to the burn. You can do a few layers of it, just let them dry in between. Leave this on for the day and see if it helps. Egg whites have natural collagen and tons of vitamins-- and are great for burns. Good luck!!
