Indi Remi Weaving

What's the best brand of curly weave?
I'm going to use curly hair for the first time in my next sew in. I have looked at Bobbi Boss Indi Remi French Wave and the Soul Wave, Bohyme French Refined, and Velvet Remi Deep Wave and French Wave. Has anyone tried any of these and which would you recommend and why?
Hi. I JUST purchased 1pack of 14" Bohyme French Refined in 1B. I went in the store actually wanting to purchase the 18 Bobbi Boss Soul Wave but when I saw it I was disappointed with the length. Its like they measured the hair at 18" BEFORE its was curled. So, because of that, the Bohyme 14" pack is longer. Actually, it looks more like 16, not like 14. My hair is naturally curly, more like the Soul Wave, but at the tip of my natural hair ends, (about 3" of it) has left over relaxer on it and that part matches the Bohyme French refined so I decided to get that one. I'm had I did because you can't tell where my own hair stops and where the Bohyme starts. I am only using this hair in the back, near the nap of my neck to add length. I have 3 rows back there now using the clip ons (I bought the clips and sewed them in myself) but I think I will add I more row for more fullness so it matches more with the thickness of my own hair.
I never used this hair before but I did do some research because remi hair is not cheap! This pack cost me $112 which includes the tax.. and with a discount. In my research I only did it it Bobbi Boss and Bohyme. For Bobbi Boss Soul Wave I didn't find anything, and although the hair is beautiful and remi, because it has more curl in it I would think it would tangle more then the French Refined, because the French Refined is looser. What I found out is Bobbi Boss Indi Remi is NOT Indian hair. The sales woman told me that and also I read on a blog its not. Indi Remi is just part of the hair. It is Remi Hair so its better quality then your typical beauty supply store hair. Bobbi Boss it just a little cheaper..althought you do get 18", but that's only when you pull the hair straight. Bohyme is a little more expensive but it is better quality hair then Bobbi. Its Remi hair, but not Indian, however the grade of hair is better and the hair cuticles are all going in the same direction. Because of this, you will have less tangles. I've only had this hair in for a few hours so I can't tell you what it will look like in a month, but what I see and feel, this hair is some good soft hair and is sooooo natural looking and so flowy. Oh, I told you I have 3 rows in my head now using clips, well what is left over in the pack is enough to do 2 1/2 more rows (length wise is from 1 ear to the other ear).
What I read on Bohyme is that it sheds a lot. So, because this hair is so pricey, I sealed the weft by carefully squeezing a tiny line of nail glue on it. I did it on both sides and concentrated on the end of the weft once its cut. Don't put too much so it doesn't pour over to the strands and also you don't want to make the weft TOO HARD where you can't push a needle through it. Whatever brand of hair you get, its best to seal the weft.
I've been wearing weave off and on for years and what I discovered is when you want to go curly, it PAYS to get GREAT quality hair. Ive bought cheaper curly hair, and even something comparable to Bobbi Boss which is Sensual Human Indian Remi Wet and Wavy Jerry Curl and although pretty at first, in about 2 months it was so dang gone mangled and tangled I had to pull it apart to comb it and it just kept on thining out and thining out. So, I said that just to say try, if your budget allows you to, get a higher end product such as Boyhemi Remi or the Bobbi Boss Remi. The others you mentioned may be ok, I haven't heard of those. But stay away for sure the non remi curly hair. They are coated to look great but after a short while, the sheen goes away and you are then left with a hot mess looking like you're wearing weave and you don't want that! I go cheaper with the straight hair (Milky Way Yacky Weave) because I noticed with straight human hair, you don't have tangling as an issue, but with the curly stuff...oh boy, its ridiculous! I was told this Boyhemi hair I have can easily last up to a year. Because I won't be sleeping in it (I remove it when I go to sleep), it will ast longer...plus I baby my weaves like its my own hair..no matter the cost. I strtch every dollar, so the longer I keep it and keep it fresh, the more money I have for something else. Good luck to you!!
