Human Heart

Is there warranty mileage on the human heart?
Is the human heart designed to beat just a certain number of times?
Someone pointed out that the heart of a bird beats so many times before it expires, and that each animal has a lifespan according to this same formula, the heart of a hummingbird beating faster than, say, a tortoise.
Is there such a formula in biology?
No. A lot has to do with the size of the heart and the resultant stress. In addition, a heart's longevity is dependent on the resistance of the blood going through the blood vessels.
So, if you maintain good blood vessel health, then your heart will last longer as your heart won't have to pump as hard.
Eat very low amounts of meat and very high amounts of vegetables and your heart will last longer.
But, there is no formula.
