Hot curlers?!?
Is there any way I can get my hair to hold curl after I use hot curlers? I have natrually wavy hair, but I usually don't have time to let it air dry so I have to blow dry it before I put in my hot rollers. I really don't like using hair spray cause it make my hair so clumpy. Is there any way I can get my hair to hold the curls without using hair spray? Thanks guys!
after blow drying and before rolling add mousse. Also leave the rollers in until they are completely cool (thats the trick to longer lasting curls... I could get into the scientific reasons and bore you to tears but I won't hee hee) Also if you've got time to spare, curl your hair on hot rollers til the cool, then unroll them but reroll them with your fingers and pin to head with bobby pins ( kind of like pincurls but not flat) and leave them in until you are literally ready to walk out the door. A good coat of hairspray will help as well.
If you don't want to go the mousse route, then spray each section of hair before rolling.
