basic make-up, makeup tools, hair products , hair tools checklist please ?
I need just a basic checklist for make-up, make-up tools, hair products, hair tools, etc.
I really want to start doing my hair nice and straight or curly and i need to wear more make-up too . i need the best brands too and cheapest
Make up: primer (MAC paint pot or Urban decay primer potion), light, medium and dark eyeshadow, pencil eyeliner, gel eyeliner, mascara, foundation, powder, concealer, (<--these 3 only if you need to cover up/make the skin more even) blush, chapstick/lipgloss. For the powdery stuff + foundation, I love Everyday minerals because it's great product AND it's really cheap. Eyeliners, are the ones from MAC: MAC fluidline gel eyeliner and MAC powerpoint eyepencil. Mascara is really individual, but I love Max Factor Masterpiece Max and Maybelline's Colossal volum' mascara.
Make up tools: Sponge/brush for applying foundation, brush for applying blush, big fluffy brush for applying powder, basic brush for applying eyeshadow and I would really recommend investing in a blending brush, because it makes eye make up so much easier to look good. Some eyeliners already have brushes, but if you don't, get one :p Q-tips and additional sponges are for me essential, like for instance MAC Fix+, 'cause it makes everything blend into the skin better and last all day. For the brushes, I would reccomend the ones from Coastal Scents, they're really great, and not pricey at all (But if you do buy EM, buy a foundation kabuki brush for application). I paid 1,45 US dollars for my eyeliner brush...
Hair products: Mousse for hold, heat protectant if you use blowdryer, straightener etc.: everything using heat. And a light hairspray that has great hold and at the same time can easily be brushed out. I like the ones from Lee Stafford, they're semi-pricey, but they last a loong time...
Hair tools: BRUSH :p both a regular and a big bristle brush to untangle hair when you've curled it etc. Hair clips, bobby pins...anything that you'd like to "put" in it. For me, it's essential with a blow dryer, so invest in a good one. I have this one from remingtion that's called iCurl which also gives you "beach hair" :p I love it, best buy I've ever done, hair wise :p If you want to straight or curl your hair, you can buy one of those 2in1's, that is like a regular straightener, but the sides also have heatplates so you can curl your hair by twisting it.
But you don't really need to decide that oh, I want to wear more make up. It's a process: experiment with make up and hairstyles, and you'll settle for something that you like, and that isn't "forced"...Instead of curling/straightening your hair, you could just try to braid it french style, side-style, half up-do....anything really
Do what you feel comfortable doing, not because you feel like you must wear your hair and make up a certain way
