Should I get a body wave on my straight gray hair?
I have very straight hair and would like a body wave or a permanent to make it look good so that I don't have to fuss with it very day before I go to work. Are they better today than they used to be...
Yes they are better than they were! And some of them smell better too! You, as the public, should be knowledgeable of what you want and be able to relate this to the stylist. When a client sits in my chair for a service my first question is what do they NOT want. In your case you do not want curl you want body....so you need to know the larger the rod the looser the curl, the smaller the rod the tighter the curl. You could go to a beauty supply store and familiarize your self with the sizes/colors of the rods and you will know if you will be getting a body wave or curls you do not want by the size of the rods the stylist chooses to do your hair in. You will be one step ahead of and in control of your out come!
Also, if your hair is not completely gray the perm will alter your color a bit.
