Has anyone tried Regaine for male hair loss?

I was wondering if anyone has used Regaine for male hair loss? It's £25 per bottle that lasts a month. Is it worth it? After you stop using it the hair loss will return.

My fiancee has been on it for about a year, he also uses this laser that stimulates hair re-growth on his scalp twice a week. I think that they have both worked well, I can tell where the hair is starting to come back in. The only unfortunate thing is you will lose whatever you grow if you stop any kind of hair treatments, and it can be pricy.
