Is there a hair streaking kit that can be used on dyed hair?
Ok, well I dyed my hair black tonight and planned on putting purple-ish streaks in my hair. I used the Colour Rays hair streaking/highlighting kit from Wal-Mart. I followed the directions and it didn't show up at all except for a bit in my roots. SIGH. So... is there certain hair streaking kit that I can use for my now lovely black hair?
Well you shouldve bleached the spots you wanted to be purple BEFORE dying it black. : /
now if you bleach it it will most likely turn orange. If so you will have to bleach it twice. Then you can put temporary colors in the bleached parts all the time! Or not but that's what I do. If you really love purple and want it pearmanent I suggest doing that professionally.
