Would you use a box hair dye kit after you've had your hair professionally colored?
I've gone to salons and had bleach put on my hair the past 10 years. I once tried a box bleach kit and it turned my hair orange. Well, a co-worker now wants to try to color my hair and I've been fighting her on it and I need people to back me up that it isn't a good idea. I hope some beauticians are on here!

NO!!! Never use a box kit. Especially to lighten. Your co-worker is not your friend if she wants to disfigure you like that.
