Will straightening my hair damage it if i use the right products?
also what are the right products. i have curly hair naturally but i cant stand it so i've been straighting it for a while now but a lot of my friends tell me that im going to damage my hair.
If you use a good straightener then the less damge to you hair will be caused. Using the GHd like me which is one of the best ones out there actually enusres your hair retains moisture while straightening it which means it wont dry out and stay healthier. However like me you shouldalso using a thermal protector (any one from your local supermarket will do). Just spray it all over your hair jsut before straightening and it acts as a shield for your hair protecting it from the heat of your straightener. It is also cheap to buy. The Treseme one is a good choice. Doing this as well as washing your hair on a regular basis will make sure that your hair stays healthy even if you straighten it.
