What are the best goth, punk, emo, metal, death metal, techno & dance bands?
If you don't know of any bands in that type of music, don't answer this please.
Wowwww you've got way too much going on there. Goth? Punk? Emo? Metal? Techno? Dance? I could spend all day with that, and they are all totally different.
My favorite gothic rock band is All About Eve. Try "Martha's Harbour".
I love gothic metal, try Sentenced, Elis, Lullacry, Midnattsol, Silentium, Theatre of Tragedy, or Krypreria.
I don't listen to much punk.
Emo is not a genre. MCR is pop punk. Sunny Day Real Estate is alternative rock.
Metal? Thrash, speed, doom, gothic, symphonic, folk, viking, industrial, sludge, stoner, power? Which do you like? Symphonic power metal = Therion, Bride Adorned, Amberian Dawn, and Nightwish. Doom = Draconian. Folk/viking = Turisas and Esniferum. Power = Stratovarius.
Techno? Uh.....try Agoria. If you're looking for a sort of synthgoth feel, try The Birthday Massacre, Zombie Girl, or Kidneythieves.
