What does a goody-goody mean?
Someone said in her answer that when girls wear there hair curly they look like goody-goody. I'm curious to know. What does it really mean and is it good or bad?Thnx
A goody-goody is someone who always follows the rules, even when breaking the rules would be socially acceptable. Goody-goody normally has a negative connotation and is used to describe a person who is a brown-noser or suck-up. An example of a goody-goody would be a teacher's pet in school. Being a goody-goody is not a bad thing. It should be viewed as a compliment because it is likely something that others are jealous of.
