I have hot roots PLEASE HELP?
So i colored my hair with 5rv and added a little bit of 5n for my grey all with 20 volume developer .Used topchic by goldwell by the way.
I put it on my roots first an i know that was wrong. I just wasn't thinking. Well my roots are a rv color and the rest of my hair doesn't even seem like it took the rv color at all. I have a cosmetology license its just been a long time since i did formulas. I was thinking to do the rv again with only 10 volume and the rest of my hair and the last 10 mins put in on my roots.. Does anyone have any ideas???????????
wow i really never had problems with goldwell till now.
Im so pissed that is came out like this. I love red but after thinking about it im going to have this problem everytime i color it again. I was also jsut thinking going to a 5b and call it a day. think that will work
10 isn't recommended for gray hair. The recommended developer for gray is 20.
Your roots are the intended color however the rest of your hair has the intended color over the previous color and that's why it looks different.
Do a bleach bath to remove the color from you hair. Then color again using your 20 volume developer and process for 45 minutes.
As a side note...Goldwell is known for unreliable results
