How do I clean my earring piercing?
I have a simple piercing in my ear lobe, nothing funky like those huge holes you can fit a pencil through. Just a little hole for regular earrings. well i hate wearing my earrings because it always hurts and whenever i take them out there's gunk. I have had earrings since i was 7, so it's not like i just got the

How do i make the piercing healthy, like so it heals and isn't infected?? what can i do to clean them so they won't hurt and get all gunky anymore??
Hi, I have the same problem, and what really works for me is getting some warm water and dissolving a sprinkle of salt in it. With a cotton wool ball you then dunk it in the salt water and clean both the ear and earring ( use separate cotton balls for each ear / earring). And also make sure you take them out regularly. Just before you have a shower and then leave them out until you get out of the shower so your ears get a wash. Oh and make sure you put the same earring back in each ear so that they don't both get all gunky. If nothing is working and it really hurts, I would ask your doctor just in case as you may have an infection or be allergic to that type of earring.
