I was on the bus yesterday with my girl friend and she got up to talk to the bus driver. The front of the bus was pretty full and the back was wide open but this guy came onto the bus and sat in my girlfriend's spot. I told him politely that my girlfriend was sitting there and I asked him to move. He suddenly flew into a rage and started cursing at me and calling me a racist (he was black, I'm white). He said he refused to sit in the back of the bus and then he called me a cracker. The bus driver had security throw him out of the bus and he threatened to sue for discrimination.
...I made all this up?! Why is there such a double standard here? If I was black and he was white, you would have believed me.
My girlfriend was just asking the bus driver a quick question about how to get to a certain place.
thank you, Brandon. I know that most black people aren't like that. Unfortunately, there are a few bad apples out there just like in every race and religion.
