Jehovah's Witnesses, Do You Ever Fudge On Your Time-Slip?

For those who are not JWs, a little clarification is in order.

Jehovah's Witnesses are told to meet an average number of hours in the door to door ministry. I believe in the USA it is 10 hours per month. In order to keep track of this, they are required to fill out a time-slip documenting the number of hours they spent in the ministry. They then submit it to the service overseer, who records it and then sends all of the slips to HQ in Brooklyn.

I myself have done this and just about every JW I know personally has done it too. Fudge on the time-slip I mean. Have you perhaps marked the full two hours in service when you spent half an hour at the Starbucks or at Mister Donut yesterday morning?

Okay, I admit that I did that on occasion. But I was giving a good "witness" to the cashier by being extra polite . . .

Edit:

The JWs suggest that all JWs try to make at least 10 hours in the ministry--whether that be door to door or other forms of witnessing. They like to track the number of hours for their own statistical puposes, one of which is most likely to encourage everyone with the total number of hours being spent witnessing by all JWs. I don't think that there are any nefarious motives behind tracking hours--many volunteer organizations have their volunteers do the same.
