Hi,
Embarrassing situation...After shaving a...certain area...The pelvic/bikini area only is a bit irritated. It is red and some of the hair follicles (it looks like the follicles) are forming pimple-ish things. Because the job was done 2 days ago, I find it hard to believe that they are infected. I have been putting anti-biotic ointment on the area twice a day and it hasn't appeared to help.
PLEASE HELP!!!
They are razor bumps.
Exfoliate the area until the bumps go away, even though the hair will grow back.
Next time, follow these steps before/after shaving.
1. take a painkiller. It will decrease inflammation before shaving.
2. Use shaving cream and a super sharp razor. The sharper the razor, the less irritation you will have.
3. Use Bikini Zone right afterwards, and the next day too. It will get rid of the bumps and keep them form coming.
4. Put deodorant (just stick deodorant) on it. This sounds weird, but it REALLY works.
