I want to dye my hair dark, can you help please?
I'm not allowed to go black, so I decided I'll do dark brown. My hair is like the Light Brown and Aubarn Brown mixed together in this picture, http://www.hopefashions.com/images/color-chart.gif. I want to do something like these pictures.

But what kind of colour would I need to buy? My friend said if I choose a dark brown colour my hair will be black which I dont want. I was thinking of buying Semi-Permanent, since it lasts up to 20 shampoos. Is that a good choice, because I don't want to do permanent. Would it start fading out? Because my hair is up to my elbows so i was thinking would I be able to dye it back to my normal colour once it starts fading out? Thank ya!
Once you dye your hair it will never be your "normal" colour again unless you grow it out. To be honest, hair dye companys dont make a black hair dye. They just make a very dark brown. Maybe you should try dying your hair a "light ash brown". Thats what i dye mine and it comes out pritty dark. Dont do perminant because your natural colour will react with the dye and most likely come out red/ginger. Do semi-perminant. It's much better for your hair and if you like it, when it fades, dye it that colour again. Hope this helps xxx
