Chi or Solia flat iron?

i am between the Farouk CHI Limited Edition Guitar Collection Ceramic Hairstyling Iron and the Solia Tourmaline Ceramic Ion Flat Iron (1"). I have heard good things about both and price is very close on Amazon (where i will be buying) i need to know the differences pros and cons of each. I have had 2 flat irons and both broke one stopped turning on and the other wouldnt heat up so if anyone has had an expierience like that with Chi or solia please share. Also which one lasts longer. For the price i would like it to last a long time.

the solia:pulled my hair burned it made it dry

then i decided to get the chi

the chi:Half the time from the solia. Leaves hair shiny. doesnt make it freezzy
