Is it ok to take tylenol extra strength when pregnant?
the night before last i took one tylenol extra strength at 7 pm cuz I had bad neck pain. I then woke up at 2 and took another one cuz it was still there. This morning I woke up at 2 again and couldnt take the pain so i took one. Is this ok, or can something happen to my baby??? to make it simple I took 3 pills in two days, and although my doctor says its alright to take extra strength, I want to make sure from others.
Tylenol was on the list of over the counter medications my doctor gave me that are ok to take. So you should be fine...although I would probably try to take the least amount possible.
Depending on how much your neck hurts, a massage or hot pad could help to ease the pain. If you don't feel comfortable taking medication, there are always alternatives!
Just relax, though! When you are pregnant (I'm 10 1/2 weeks along), you should do whatever you can to make yourself feel good! You deserve it; you are creating a new life! =)
