Hair Colouring and Hair Extension question.?
I have naturally orange/red hair.
It is extremely hard to dye over with the hairdye bought from the shops (DIY hairdyes)
So, I got it dyed brown at the salon a few weeks ago,
I have wanted my hair black for a few years, and I wanted to dye my hair brown first to see if black would be too dark and so going black wont seem so dramatic.
Getting my hair dyed at a salon costs around about ninety dollars,
But
I was wondering whether it would be safe to use some DIY black hair colouring or not?
And
I am getting clip in human hair clip in extensions from this site:

I was wondering how long they would last for if I wore them most days per week- whenever im out of the house etc?
And
If you can colour them, if so with DIY hairdye or would I have to go to a salon for them?
Has anyone else gotten clip in extensions from this site, if you have please give me some info 
dying hair black with a home kits is quite str8 forward altho i still def say go to a salon to get it done just to b on the safe side.
clip in extensions - they do last - however, over the ime the silicone coating will ware off and they may start getting tangled.
but you CANT dye them because of the fact that they are coated in silicone and enzymes to help recreate the cuticle layer of the hair (when hair is made into extensions - the cuticle is usually stripped and they use silicone as a 'cuticle') and when u dye them - it will ruin the extensions.
however - u can buy some extensions which are 'untreated' meaning they can b dyed
