What to do about a bad perm?
I got a Perm last Saturday. I have thick coarse hair, it was virgin hair. I pointed several pictures of women with fat spiral curls and asked her to use her biggest rods for a spiral perm. When the stylist was done I had to tell her to trim the ends. I left with crispy hair that was wavy and 3-4 inches on the bottom of the strands were straight. I tried scrunching it, and nothing. I waited 3 days, deep conditioned it, trimmed the crispy ends she missed, and still the hair didn't curl. I paid 120 for the perm, the girl was new at the salon, and didn't speak much english but told me she'd done this for years. I had perms before even on virgin hair and they always took.
120 whoa they ripped you off I've always got mine done for around 50 dollars but thatas adies from the point. what this means is that the woman didn't perm all your hair strands. the bottom was supposed to be permed also. if your hair's texture wasn't wavy before you got it done then your hair should have been permed all over. you need to go back, demand your money and speak to the owner on firing the style who did your hair( as she half ass did your hair now it looks bad, or see if she can perm the ends of your hair free of charge as those should have been relaxed.) the woman should know english. messing with non-english speakers always results in something gone wrong with hair. mean while all you can do is wait until the effects wear off and take a curling iron and curl the ends of your hair.
