19-yr-old university student want to update closet - ideas and fashion tips wanted?
Okay so I am 19, in second year cell and molecular bio (university) and i am thinking about updating my closet.
I am thinking about some casual, metro, sexy, elegant and sophisticated outfits. Nothing revealing, because I am at university a lot and I think I should dress appropriately.
I am petite with curves. About 5'2" tall (or short) haha. Black-Brown hair (no dyes and i love it this way). I have a warm honey colored skin tone. My boyfriend is surprisingly into clothes, more than me and his mom always buys him the designer stuff. I am not that rich, but I do shop from respectable store. (banana republic, fcuk, mango, etc)

After those basic pieces, it should really be about what makes you excited to get dressed. Are you a jewelry person, or do you love scarves? Do you worship at the alter of high heels, or are you comfortable in fun flats? Find what feels right for YOU and incorporate it into your style. Everything looks better when you feel confident wearing it. Me personally, I have a huge collection of colorful flats, and a closet full of classic basics that I can mix and match. My other piece of advice is to befriend a good tailor in your area. Your outfit will look 10x better, more put together, and more expensive if you spend a little more and have it tailored for you.
