is my orthodontist giving me the wrong treatement?
Well I have this little gap in between my teeth and a few others on the bottom beside that my teeth are perfectly alligned, like the bit.
He offered me invisalign for 14 months, isn't that too long?
wait it doesn't end here, then after the 14 months i get clear buttons put on to push down 2 of the teeth with elastics then..
if my teeth are right yet, another set of invisalign treatement
i heard invisalign is only for 11 moths , am I getting ripped off????
Invisalign time span depends on how many trays are needed, which is dependent on how much your teeth need adjusting.
The benefit of orthodontic treatment being done at a slower place is
1) Less discomfort for the patient
2) Less chance of fremitus (check on wiki for definition)
3) Less chance of hypercementosis (check wiki)
I don't think you are getting ripped off, but go for a 2nd opinion just to put your mind at rest~!!!
