Dryer Styling
![]() |

My hair seems over processed and dry, but I don't use any styling products or a dryer or straightener on it?
...I have been using Herbal Essence "Hello Hydration", but it only seems to be making my hair feel like it is over processed. It feels dry and gross to the touch...HELP! What should I do? Change shampoo? ANy suggestions?
Oh, I have medium length, straight, blonde hair...
I had the exact same problem! I wasn't drying it, straightening it, coloring it, or curling it and my hair was dry as a bone AND had split ends! I tried tons of different shampoos, but nothing seemed to put life in my hair, until I figured out these simple steps!
Here's what you should do. First off, don't wash your hair every day. Washing your hair every day strips it of the natural oils your hair needs to be healthy. Experiment for a while until you find a routine that's good for you. Secondly, when you condition your hair, run it through with your fingers from root to tip, then run a comb through your hair a few times before rinsing. This makes sure the conditioner gets not only to the entire strand, but to the whole head of hair. I started doing this about a month ago, and my hair is SO much softer and more manageable! Lastly, get your hair trimmed more often to get rid of those dull ends. Even a half inch works wonders!
Hope that helps you!
