Not sure what to do.. wanted to get someone else's opinion. I have medium brown hair naturally but dyed it a strawberry blonde with more reddish tones underneath. My roots are showing now and I wasn't sure what I wanted to do; highlights to blend or go back to my natural color. I went to a salon yesterday to see what they thought about doing and she said she thought dying it all over with a demi-permanent warm brown, something about a level 7. She said the blonde and red tones I already have in my hair would just bring out more color with the all over brown. Now my question is.. should I just attempt this myself? Is all over color a piece of cake and hard to screw up? Or should I pay the extra money and go to the salon since I already have color in my hair?
