I just moved to downtown Chicago which I love, I love Chicago, I love the people, I love the downtown. However, there is this single divorced man that lives next to me in my apartment building. He's nice but bitter from his recent divorce. We often have a periodic dinner party with everyone from my hall, it was my turn and I cooked my cultural food and he seemed to really love it, everyone did but he was very vocal about it. When he approached me at the end of the gathering he asked if I would be interested on date, when I told him politely no and gave him my conservative reasons, he made this incredibly sad face. It may have been for a few seconds but the look he gave me depressed me. He politely left and now I feel awful. I dont understand he's such a good looking guy and he's a lawyer so whats the deal?
