How is it that my hair will hold from a flat iron but not a curling iron?
Is it that the heat isn't high enough on my curling iron (it is older)? I have thick hair, but when I flat iron my hair it stays that way until I wash it.
i think since your hair is on the thiker side its a little heavy for the curls to hold. you should try a volume or curl hairspray. i have kind of the same issue, but what i do is do the curls with thinner strands rather than a bunch of hair at once. also i spray a little of the spray when the curling iron is still in my hair and let go. at the end i spray all over (not a lot bc it will look stiff) and voilaa
