Is the anti-curl treatment safe to do?
I have curly to wavy hair and I am getting an anti-curl treatment done that makes your hair straight for about 2 months. It is not as intense as the Japanese Straightening treatment, but regardless it must be somewhat damaging.
The problem is that I have fine/limp hair and my hair falls a lot, so I was wondering if this would be a good idea to do?
Any alternatives for this would help as well.

Do not use that process on your hair. It is just too big of a risk. Instead, go to a good salon supply store or an Ula store or a Beauty Brands store near you. (Use the online directory to find one.) Look for a product by Redken that is called Align. It is numbered "12" in their line of products with numbers on them. It is a very good temporary straightener. It works from shampoo to shampoo. You put an amount to cover about the same area as a quarter in your palm. Rub it onto both palms and distribute it evenly throughout your hair starting at the roots at the front. Comb it through, use a little volumizing gel and blow-dry. When the hair is completely dry, let it cool down for about five minutes before using a flat-iron. Just before using the flat-iron put one or two pumps of Redken Smooth Down Heat Glide throughout your hair. Section the hair and comb through to straighten out any tangles or kinks, then starting at the roots and move fairly rapidly through the hair to the ends. You can add a little curve to the ends by turning your wrist in the direction you want the curve to go (up or under) for the last three to four inches. Do not comb or brush hair until it has cooled completely. You will probably see a little smoke rising from the hair as the iron passes over it. This is nothing to be alarmed about as it is just the oil. As the iron passes over the hair, the oil is burned off instead of burning the hair cuticle. Also, a small amount of the oil is sealed into the hair to help protect and condition it. When you are done you should have healthy, straight hair until your next shampoo.
Mine even stays straight in very humid weather and light rain.
