What is good curl/scrunch products?

i have thick hair, and curly in the back of my hair, and kinda wavy on the sides. my friend has scrunched my hair before and i Absolutely loved it! but it was too crunchy for me, it was just too hard and stiff. she used that "curl booster" stuff (it comes in a yellow bottle) by the way my aunt is a professional hairstylist so she can get me the professional products. so what should i use, that doesn't make my hair hard?

If you don't like the crunch stuff, try finding a cream instead of a gel/mousse.

I like the redken curl boosting creme- it helps enhance curls without the crunch/crispy feel of mousse:

If your hair is kinda stiff with the scrunching, try scrunching your hair then pulling it into a bun or two for about 15 miuntes, then letting it out- the c urls shoudl be loose and beachy!
