Is Ice Cream/Inebrya Hair Dye Suppossed to stay in this long?
Hey guys
I dyed my hair a red colour with Ice Cream/Inebrya (an Italian branded prodcut, they sell it in those red boxes @ Shoppers Drug Mart here in Toronto) - I used 20% volume emulsion with it (what most permanent hair colours use, I asked the woman who worked there)
BUTTT, I've washed my hair a few times already during this past week and there is colour coming out all the time...Why hasnt it all come out yet?
Oh btw, with Ice Cream dye, you have to mix the dye and emulsion cream together...kinda like a henna paste? Is that the reason why its fading sooo fast??
THANKS!
Red is a really difficult colour to maintain just because of the chemicals that have to be used. I was looking at these hair dyes today at Shoppers and for the past couple of years been contemplating trying it.
At any rate, I have the same issues and I think I have tried almost every red colour and brand on the face of this earth. It seems that after 2 weeks of great colour, it rinses out and it really sucks! You could try using a shampoo and conditioner specifically aimed at red dyed hair?
