Cortex Purple Hair

got a hair question i really need an answer for!?
ok so ive got hair that i constantly straighten with a cortex brand hair Straightener and its a good one, but im looking to dye my hair a blue or purple maybe, im not looking for like WAHBAM color you know lolz, like a anime natural look, something average or dark colored, as long as it shows, and i was wondering whats the best i could get, price and quality. i have some hair damage and my color as of now is alburnish, thanks in advance! ^,^
Ok i'm not exactly an expert but if you only want it toned down just die it don't bleach because then it will come out crazy bright. and it really doesn't much matter what you get. My friend kris just wanted something that would wash out in a few weeks and it ended up fading a bit but it was still there months after. So go for semi permanent but think about what your going to do after your roots start showing because it won't come out.
