is it ok to straighten hair without protectant but i use a deep conditioner?
i straighten my hair once a week but i do not use a protectant spray/creme. i deep condition every other week, so is that ok?
Well, my hairdresser just told me if I do not have a spray protectant, then to just put some product such as curl creme in it before I blow dry. You just want to have something between your hair and the heat. Deep conditioning is great, but I think not burning your hair is better.
