Conditioner Gallon

How many mL of water conditioner should I use in my 3 gallon fish tank?
I'm going to use tap water in a 3 gallon aquarium. The water conditioner says to use 1 teaspoon (5 mL) for every 10 gallons, but since it's less than 10 gallons (3 gallons) I don't know how much to use. So how much water conditioner should I use?
For the brand you have it would be 1.5 mL for your entire tank, and .5 mL for each gallon you replace during water changes. Go to a local pharmacy and ask for a small oral syringe (mine gives them away for free), which should make measuring much easier. It doesn't matter that much though, because even if you overdose a bit it shouldn't really hurt anything.
If that gets to be a pain, the smallest bottles of Seachem Prime brand water conditioners are measured by the drop (because it's rather concentrated), and it's easy to dose by the gallon (2 drops per gallon). Just make sure to check for the bottles with the hinged lids.
