Whats the best way to save my hair?
My hair at the tips is try and damaged. I blow dry and straighten about once or twice a week (and would rather not give that up). My hair isn't colored or chemically processed. I've read that you shouldn't wash everyday but also read that I should use a mosterizing shampoo (I use the Panteen Restorives). What is the best method to revive my hair?
The condition of limp locks is something which occurs to individuals every once in a while. Limp locks is a condition where hair seems to be dull, drab and lacking in volume. There are many simple, and inexpensive ways to revive limp locks.
Get a New Haircut
One way to bring those dull locks back to life is to head to the hairdresser for a new hairdo. A new haircut will remove all of the dead ends and shorten the length of the hair, both of which will revitalize the locks of the past. Whether it is a 10-inch haircut or a 2-inch haircut, cutting off some of the old hair will add bounce and volume back to one’s hair.
Styling Products
Another way to revive limp locks is to use by styling products. Boosting mousses, gels and sprays can help revive limp hair. Try a few different products to see which ones work the best on your hair. Be sure not to overuse the styling products because too many products can make limp locks worse.
Tease Hair with a Brush or Comb
An inexpensive quick fix for limp locks is simply to tease your hair. Using a comb or brush, hold a piece of hair up and move the styling tool up and down the hair strands close to the root of the hair. Teasing your hair produce volume around the scalp which will take away the appearance of limp locks. This is a nice, free way to try and revive limp locks.
Take It Easy on the Conditioner
Many individuals like to use conditioner on a daily basis. However, if hair is not responding to the conditioner, it may be best to leave it on the shelf for a while.
Limp locks are something which do not have to be a problem. By getting a new haircut, using styling products, teasing hair or easing up on conditioner, the individual experiencing this hair problem may find that their answers are right there in front of them.
GOOD LUCK AND I HOPE THIS HELPS!
