refreshing my hair color? let red dye dry into hair? HELP!?
so my hair has been red for a little while and i refresh it alot because as you know red fades super fast.
but the other day i was talking to my friend and she said she sleeps in the die over night then rinses it in the morning.
ive also heard this other placesand it seems to help color last longer.
im going to try that, so i jus finshed washing and conditioning mi hair really good and i put the red dye on my wet hair...im wondering if i can sleep in it which will mean the red dye will be drying into my hair also?
is this good...should i sleep in it or just wash it out...have any other tips for making red last longer? thanks.
I definitely would not sleep in it, maybe leave it on longer than it says too and sleeping in it may have worked for your friend but you guys have two completely different head of hair. I would suggest continuing to dye it red but if you buy a shampoo that is aimed for red hair, trust me it will keep your color looking more vibrant longer. You may not notice anything right away but like with anything it takes time. So if you proceed with the red hair for a while i would not use any other shampoo besides one that is made for red hair and to make the color last. I think Redkin has a really good one out and if you dont want to spend that much money i know Pantene does.
