Do you have to use extra virgin coconut oil for hair?

I purchased plain old Organic Coconut Oil by accident (grabbed it quickly at the health store). I want to use it in my hair...

I understand you HAVE to use Extra Virgin Coconut Oil for your face (or else you'll break out)

Can I use just organic coconut oil in my hair? Or does it also have to be Extra Virgin??

You dont *have* to use extra virgin coconut oil. Yes, plain coconut oil will do. You can read up about the differences in this link: http://www.organicfacts.net/organic-oils/organic-coconut-oil/virgin-coconut-oil.html I think either should do the trick, it makes your hair very soft and shiny.
