i don't get it, if i color my hair and it comes out a green shade, does that mean that if i put the red complements in my hair that it will get rid of the green? what color would my hair be after i try this? and when i bleached my hair, it had an orange tone to it, and a girl at school who's mom is the cosmo-teacher at the college said i should use "blue." blue what? blue toner? or the blue complements? and if i used the complements, wouldn't that make my hair a brownish color, or would it tone it into a blonde?

The secret is using a toner on the opposite side of the colour wheel to cancel out unwanted tones.
If you bleach your hair and it goes orange or yellow, a purple toner will 'cool' it down.
As said above, home colouring is not recommended, too much goes wrong but it pays my wages when it does!!!!
